Unshuttered is a photo-based social network, developed in 2018 for the Getty Center Museum's youth art program. Created for aspiring photographers, seeking to broaden their skillset and share their photography with the world. Version 1.0 featured a simple yet intuitive interface for both mobile and web. The platform allowed users to post their work and like the work of others across eight unique photo feeds, known as "Challenges". Each feed was themed around a unique photography topic and featured a Getty produced, educational video. These videos covered a wide array of technical and creative skills specific to each Challenge. The final products included a native iOS app, a full featured desktop site and mobile web app, accommodating Android mobile users.
